Môj prvý čitateľský preukaz
We cordially invite you to the presentation of reading cards to children born in the Old Town in 2024-2026.
Come with your little ones to receive their first reading card and open the door to the world of books and stories. The event will take place on Thursday, November 12, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Old Town Library at Blumentálska 10/a. Discover the magic of reading together with us and support a love of books from an early age. Celebrate your children’s first steps on their reading journey.
The Old Town Library, in cooperation with the Bratislava-Old Town district, has been implementing the My First Reading Card project since 2016, which supports family reading, the development of reading literacy and building children’s relationship with books from birth.
As part of the project, children with permanent residence in the Bratislava-Old Town district receive free registration at the Old Town Library until they start compulsory school.
