NEXT Advanced Music Festival
The NEXT Festival presents the current work of artists from all over the world, playing live and inspiring contemporary music without genre restrictions. The name symbolizes the fusion of the terms New & Experimental.
Four days of inspiring music and sound art at five remarkable venues in the A4 contemporary culture space in the historic YMCA building, in the concert hall of the Slovak Radio, in the iconic inverted pyramid-shaped steel building, in the former church, now the Klariska concert hall, and in the VŠVU concert hall.
NEXT is all about radical melodies, elemental improvisations, unpolished sounds, original musical techniques and concepts, acoustic instruments and innovative electronics or multimedia projects.
