Night Sky Above Devín Castle

Have you ever observed the universe through a professional telescope? Join us on Friday, October 11, at 7:00 PM at Devín Castle for an event prepared in collaboration with professionals from the Slovak Astronomical Society. With their guidance and assistance, you’ll have the opportunity to observe the night sky and aim the telescope at celestial objects such as Jupiter, the Moon, binary stars, as well as deep-space objects—galaxies and nebulae.
Please bring your own red-light flashlight or headlamp.

Schedule:

• 6:30 PM – Entrance opens to the public
• 7:30 PM – Start of the guided tour of the night sky
• 8:00 PM – Stargazing at designated stations
• 10:00 PM – Scheduled end
