Pavol Hammel (krst albumu Poetika) + Juraj Burian + ďalší

Slovak musician and composer Pavol Hammel presents his new studio project titled Poetika on the concert stage. The strength of the songs shines through a minimalist arrangement, replacing large orchestrations with the intimate sound of voice, guitar, and keyboards. Accompanied by guitarist Juraj Burian and keyboardist Peter Preložník, the performance features a retrospective of Hammel’s work spanning from 1967 to the present day.

Alongside well-known tracks, the setlist includes lesser-known and nearly forgotten songs that the musicians recorded using a direct, live-in-studio method. The album’s title reflects the poetic depth of Hammel’s catalog, featuring lyrics primarily by Boris Filan and Kamil Peteraj, as well as poetry by Miroslav Válek and Roger McGough. This special Bratislava concert at Štúdio L+S will also host the official album release celebration for Poetika, published by Pavian Records.
