Spend your weekend with your children creating art! In the exhibition Smoke and Mirrors, we will look at how the exhibited works reflect our current situation and what the materials, processes, and techniques used by the artists communicate to us not only about today, but also about the past and the future. In the studio, we will immerse ourselves in layers of materials, the uncovering of which will create new perspectives and meanings for us.

You can take everything you create home with you. Dress comfortably for the program; there is no need to bring any art supplies or ideas. We will provide everything. The family program at GMB is a great space for intergenerational interaction with art. The educational program will be led by gallery educators Vendy Kováčová and Ludmila Hrachovinová.

Recommended age: children aged 6-11 + parent, younger and older siblings are also welcome

• Tickets are available online and at the Pálffy Palace ticket office.
• The number of places is limited, so we recommend purchasing tickets in advance to secure your place.
• With your ticket, you can visit the exhibitions in the palace after the event.
• Please arrive on time for the program; gallery educators will be waiting for you at the palace entrance.
