Rodinné popoludnie: Rozhovor s materiálom

The family program at the Bratislava City Gallery offers a weekend activity focused on creativity, art, and shared time between parents and children. The program is connected to the exhibition Grey Gold: Touch, exploring how artistic materials can convey experiences of older generations and reflect the relationship between digital and analogue worlds.

The workshop includes a studio session using the papier-mâché technique, allowing participants to explore the material’s fragility and strength while creating objects to take home. All materials are provided, and comfortable clothing is recommended.

The program creates space for intergenerational interaction and engagement with art. The educational activities are led by gallery educators Vendy Kováčová and Ludmila Hrachovinová.

Recommended age: children aged 6-11 + parent, younger and older siblings are also welcome

• Tickets are available online and at the Mirbach Palace ticket office.
• The number of places is limited, so we recommend purchasing tickets in advance to secure your place.
• With your ticket, you can visit the exhibitions in the palace after the event.
• Please arrive on time for the program; gallery educators will be waiting for you at the palace entrance.
• The program is for parents and children together. It is not possible to purchase a ticket for a child only.
