SCIENCE FESTIVAL – EUROPEAN RESEARCHER’S NIGHT 2015
The biggest festival of science in Slovakia is an initiative of the European Commission and for ten years it has been held in parallel in 33 European countries. Through the motto “Researchers are among us” the festival tries to describe researchers as “ordinary” people with an unusual profession. The Festival presents the results of Slovak science and research to the lay audience and professionals through an attractive and varied program of activities. Nearly 1,000 scientists and researchers are involved in the festival and it is attended by about 160 000 visitors.
