Spicy Depository: Kedy už budem Bratislavčankou?

The Bratislava City Museum invites you to a panel discussion that raises the question of who and under what circumstances can be considered part of the city.

The event follows on from the exhibition Family Realities and the series I am also a Bratislava resident and presents the views of women whose experiences and stories are often missing from urban narratives.

The discussion will focus on how Bratislava’s identity is “produced,” how everyday life in the city is experienced, what creates a sense of home and security, and how Bratislava can be more inclusive of diverse communities. The aim of the discussion is to broaden the conversation about how urban identities are formed today and what voices should be a natural part of them.
