The exhibition “Slovak Footprint in NHL”
From May 2, 2019 to May 26, all fans of ice hockey will have an opportunity to see original jerseys and items from NHL in the premises of EDISON PARK at Prievozská 18 in Bratislava.
The exhibition follows almost 30-year-long presence of Slovak hockey players in the world’s best hockey league. All exhibited items are originals used by the biggest Slovak hockey legends in famous NHL matches. The exhibition maps the history of Slovaks in NHL from the entry of the first Slovaks to the NHL, the Šťastný brothers, to the youngest hopes of Slovak hockey – Petr Cehlárik and Christian Jaroš. The exhibited items come from private collections of Slovak collectors who have been expanding their collection for years. The items now make up the inventory of the newly created Hockey Museum and so far have not yet been publicly presented. The exhibition shows items formerly belonging to over 60 Slovak hockey players.
