The Silken Ladder
Comic opera in one act in Italian language
The Open Opera prepared once again a delicacy of the old friend Gioacchino Rossini, who entertained us in the last season with his comedy Il signor Bruschino. For this very reason we decided to continue our Slovak-Italian opera novel and to move the tangled plot one step ahead with his help. We cast a glance into the master’s creative chamber and pulled out the score of his spicy comic opera The Silken Ladder.
