Train in the city
The once industrial part of Bratislava on the eastern edge of the city center, known as Nivy, has changed beyond recognition in recent decades.
While older generations of Bratislava residents nostalgically remember the original appearance of this city district, the youngest have no idea that trains once ran on Karadžičova, Metodova, and Trnavská cesta streets. This photo exhibition uses period and contemporary photographs to introduce you to the history and subsequent extensive transformation of this city district.
