Unit_0
From Friday, September 26, 2025, Atelier XIII will host an exhibition of works by Ausgang studio and Natália Evelyn Benčičová entitled Unit_0.
Ausgang studio
Alexander Zelina (1988) and Radovan Dranga (1991) form the core of the multimedia studio Ausgang studio, which in just a few years of its existence has expanded its work far beyond the boundaries of galleries. Their projects appear at rave parties, A/V festivals, theaters, music parties, and in virtual reality environments. Their work reflects on the relationship between humans and technology and critically examines a future built on the foundations of contemporary disappointments. They explore and dissect organisms that do not yet exist and create their own synthetic realities based on the consequences of human greed. The era is always determined by the most powerful medium… the significance of digital and new technologies in the digital age may be a key theme in understanding the story of the Ausgang studio.
Natália Evelyn Benčičová
Natália Evelyn Benčičová (born in Bratislava, 1992) is a visual artist specializing in photography and art direction. Her work is based on her background in fine arts and new media studies (University of Applied Arts Vienna). Evelyn combines her interest in contemporary culture with academic research, creating a unique aesthetic space where the conceptual meets the visual. She constructs compelling narrative scenarios that blur the boundaries between reality, memory, and imagination—”fictions based on truth.” Depicting multilayered representations as illusions, Evelyn manipulates the viewer’s perception, drawing them into the labyrinth of her imagination. Her disturbingly beautiful visual style and subtly washed-out color palette, set in symbolic environments, allow for a deeper exploration of themes that transcend the obvious and reveal the hidden layers of her work.
