Urban City Race

The third annual URBAN CITY RACE is approaching. During the event, active and occasional runners will be able to discover and exceed their limits, overcome obstacles put in their way and compare their performance with others. Sport-loving children are also invited. The Bratislava’s Main Square will be full of obstacles, adrenaline and great entertainment on Sunday, June 9, 2019.

The urban hurdle race is unusual as participants have to overcome obstacles inspired by extreme sports. Much like previous years, this year’s track will be a bit longer than the last year’s – 10 kilometers (7 km in 2017, 9 km in 2018) and will include classic disciplines such as crawling under low wire, rope climbing, skipping over garbage bins, running across the bus or moving tires. In one of the obstacle zones, racers will have to shoot from a bow.

Those not interested in running can enjoy a rich accompanying program, coconut drinks and coffee. Radio Viva will make the whole race more enjoyable, that is for sure. You can also look forward to power competitions, massages, taping and free consultations.

Simpler as well as more challenging tracks with multiple obstacles are waiting for the youngest participants. The children will start the race according to their age, girls first, boys second. The youngest racers can look forward to a sweet surprise, balloons and other attractions.
