Urban Market Winter Drop

Urban Market is changing things up this winter and, instead of its usual edition, is bringing a special drop – a more concentrated and slightly more underground version – in the former games room in the basement of the New Market Hall at Trnavské mýto.

For one day in November, visitors can look forward to a selection of young and fresh local design. The curated selection will showcase new names, community projects and creators who do things their own way.

Urban Market Winter Drop is still Urban Market, just in a younger, rawer and more intense form. Back in the day, when Urban Market was first launched in the old Cvernovka building on Páričková Street, that’s exactly what it was all about – discovering new names, connecting people and taking a slightly more punk approach to what a local market could look like. Winter Drop returns to that energy – not out of nostalgia, but in its own way and for the present day.
