Velikáni architektúry na Námestí slobody
The recently renovated Freedom Square with its dominant fountain belonged mainly to soldiers and children in the past. Military parades were held here, and it gradually became a center of popular entertainment and, for a time, served ideology. It is lined with buildings designed by our most important and prolific architects. However, they did not have it easy in the post-war period, and this tour will focus on their difficult fates, as well as their buildings, which still serve their original purpose.
