In September 2005 a chairlift from Železná studienka to Kamzík was again put to use. The cable car, which ceased to run in 1990 after 18 years of operation (since 1972), has an elevation of 186 meters and one hour operation can serve 342 persons.
In January 2005 Bratislava bought the land and buildings from the owner for nearly 20 million crowns and the renovation of the chairlift was funded by the city district Nové Mesto (New Town) amounting to 32 million Eur. Construction contractor is MH Engineering Slatiňany (Czech Republic), the provider of the chairlift is ECO-enterprise – public services. The chairlift has 54 seats, ropes are anchored on 18 pillars, seats distance is 37 meters. The cable car station is most easily reached by public transport – bus no. 43
