Festival of tradition handed down
The interactive folklore festival in spring clothes brings a marquee full of joy, a full-day program, experiential dance, music and creative workshops with masters of their craft and interactive art productions for young and old.
7th edition of the family-friendly Festival tRadovania is taking place this year in the iconic UMELKA gallery in Bratislava’s Old Town.
Program Highlights:
Friday, May 16, 7:00 PM: The festival opens with a unique artistic-discussion format “tRadovanie with…” featuring Alžbeta Lukáčová, Samo Smetana, Jacqueline Rudavsky, and Michal Veselský—prominent figures in music, visual, and performing arts who work with traditional culture and its original overlaps into contemporary art.
Saturday, May 17, from 10:00 AM: The entire UMELKA area (garden, pavilion, and gallery) will host experiential dance, music, and creative workshops with masters of their craft for all age groups. In addition to a variety of activities for children and their parents, youth, adults, and seniors, the program will include a special “quiet zone” for visitors with increased sensory sensitivity (in collaboration with the Prímerie civic association).
