Night full of discoveries

Only on this day it will be possible to see interesting exhibitions, author interpretations, creative workshops, animations, tours and other programs in more than 100 locations in Slovakia until late in the evening

Discover Bratislava after dark during one of the city’s most popular cultural events of the year. On Saturday, May 23, 2026, museums, galleries, and cultural institutions across Bratislava will keep their doors open late into the evening, offering a special programme filled with guided tours, exhibitions, workshops, and unique experiences.

Czech House

Programme:
From 15:00, visitors can explore two remarkable exhibitions. The joint exhibition Fake News, created in collaboration with the French Institute in Slovakia, presents contemporary artistic perspectives on disinformation. The second exhibition, Otto’s Bohemia, showcases historical depictions of the Czech landscape from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, complemented by photographs of the same locations today. Together, they offer a unique cultural experience combining history, art, and contemporary social themes.

14:30 – Curator’s tour of the Martin Benka exhibition
An expert insight into the exhibition with art historian Alexandra Kočišková. Capacity: 100 visitors.

15:00 – Children’s educational programme “All the Senses of Art”
An interactive experience where children discover art through touch, sound, and creativity.

16:00 – Acrobatic performance under the umbrellas
A visually striking performance in the gallery’s iconic umbrella street.

17:00 – Curator’s tour of the Martin Benka exhibition

A playful introduction to the life and work of Martin Benka.
