APOLKA

Apolka Restaurant is located in the historic building of the former Apollo Club, once part of the famous Apollo oil refinery that shaped the industrial history of Bratislava. Just a short walk from the city center near Mlynské Nivy, the concept combines rich heritage with modern design.

Under the leadership of chef Matúš Čierny, Apolka offers a cuisine that revives the traditional flavors of old Pressburg (the historical name of Bratislava) while applying modern techniques. Dishes are crafted from fresh, local ingredients – chicken from the Topoľnica farm, fish from the Stupava fishery, artisanal cheeses from Cheesio, and high-quality beef from Austria and the Czech Republic. Each course is prepared with attention to detail, respect for tradition, and the courage to innovate.

The culinary experience is complemented by a carefully curated wine list focusing on Slovakia, Austria, Moravia, and Germany, as well as premium craft beer ERB.
